JUNE 4, 1944, ROME ITALY

This painting was commisioned by the United States Pentagon. June 4, 1944 is the day the Allied Forces liberated the city of Rome during World War II. It is a tribute to all those who have served their country and a reminder of the blessing and the price of freedom.
